Lesson 4-22 Flowers Versus Weeds

4. We do not and will not use the Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, or Latin languages to prove any points, or give any indication that the Authorized Version has been incorrectly translated. 

I hope these studies are interesting enough to provoke you to study your Bible, and for you to grow in the grace and knowledge of our savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul said in 2 Tim. Chp 2 verse [15] “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 

It never ceases to amaze me when I ask people if they think Satan would be involved in changing or corrupting God’s word every one of them answers yes immediately.

Funny thing is, when I ask them if they think these new translations could be the corrupted word of God, they almost always say no.

Flowers verses Weeds

I was recently on a trip traveling on interstate I-10, and there were all these flowers along the road way, to which I wondered, were they flowers or weeds?

So, I looked up flower verses weeds on Google and got the following info “A weed is a plant that makes a gardener unhappy”, with an explanation that in gardens some plants like garlic, self-seeds, and becomes a weed because the gardener now has to remove all the unwanted garlic plants.

Sometimes weeds are simply the wrong plant, in the wrong place.

After reading this, I thought this might be another opportunity, and a good way to help my fellow Christians in their understanding of the Bible, as I like to say rightly divided.

I have a phrase I like to share people,

“Most unsound Bible doctrine, is sound Bible doctrine, misapplied to the wrong time period or wrong group of people!”

For a simple illustration, Noah was told by God in Genesis 9:6, that it was ok to eat every moving thing, basically if he could catch it, he could eat it.

Move forward, in Deuteronomy 14: the Israelites were told they could not eat swine (pigs i.e., bacon, pork chops). This was just one of the many things that God told the Jews they were not to eat, things like oysters, buzzards, etc. were also on the do not eat list.

In 1st Timothy 4:3, we find out that now in the dispensation of Grace, that it is ok for Christians (Jew and Gentile) to eat anything including swine (pigs i.e., bacon, pork chops).

So is this a contradiction in the Bible? Absolutely if you do not rightly divide the word of truth!

If you do not understand that all the Bible is for us, but all the Bible does not doctrinally apply to us, unfortunately you will be like the majority of well-meaning Christians who literally are teaching unsound or false doctrines.

You have to take into consideration of who was speaking, to whom was being spoken to, and who the instructions (doctrines) apply to, or you can never get it right!

Today’s modern Christian is so consumed with the words of Jesus in Matthew-Acts chapter 8, that are in fact Old Testament doctrines/instructions for the nation Israel, that the Christian Churches have become saturated with confusion and unsound doctrine!

You ask me, shouldn’t we follow the words of Jesus, absolutely!

But, we should be following the words Jesus gave to the Apostle Paul for the Gentiles found in Romans through Philemon, this is where the doctrines and instructions for Christians are found!

Satan don’t care if you are preaching the wrong Bible verses for today, but he hates it when people understand that Salvation today is not obtained today by simply believing John 3;16!

Salvation is not obtained today, by confessing Jesus is the Jewish Messiah as required for the Jews in Mathew-John!

Salvation today is obtained by believing the words Jesus gave to the Apostle Paul for the Gentiles, in his resurrection from the dead for the forgiveness of sins.

1 Corinthians 15:3,4   "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Help stamp out all this rampant Bible ignorance do some studying!

2nd Timothy “[15] Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

1st Cor. 15 "[3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

I am so thankful for the Preachers that were my mentors were Bible Believers and not bible correctors!

Satan is having a field day with the Body of Christ with all these modern-day preachers proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom with its earthly kingdom hope, repentance, confession of sins, and water baptism required to be saved or a member of a denomination, Miraculous signs as evidence of salvation, such as speaking in tongues and healing; Teaching the observance of the law, teaching the conditional forgiveness of sins based on forgiving others, teaching forsaking all and selling all to gain eternal life, Having the authority to forgive sins, Reaching Jerusalem and Israel first.

These things are simply incompatible with the truths found in the Pauline epistles, and the gospel of the grace of God. Even if you believe the Bible and you fail to understand the word of truth rightly divided you can still be misled, not lost just misled, and rendered a useless Christian witness.

We are saved not by our works, but by our faith in the crucified and risen Lord Jesus!

With modern day technology being what it is, it is very easy to do word searches and check when someone quotes a Bible verse or tells you something is in the Bible for you to look it up and verify if they are pulling your leg!

The Truth of God’s Holy word is easy to determine if you let the Holy Spirit lead you.

Remember all of the confusion among Christianity/Christians today can be attributed to the simple fact that the church, the Body of Christ, does not recognize the separate, distinct, and unique apostleship, ministry, and message of Paul.

If you have never trusted the Lord Jesus as your savior, I encourage you to believe in him and invite him to save you today! All one need do is to trust and believe in the Lord Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins to be made new in him.

Gal.2 [16] Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified

Eph.3 [17] That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, [19] And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

What a great day that will be when Jesus Christ returns in all his glory, friend don’t let that day take you unawares. Today Jesus has his arms outstretched and open to sinners to put their trust in him. One day we will all stand before him either as our savior or our judge, don’t put it off invite Jesus to save you today!

"The crowd that will not accept one truth will decay to the point that it does not accept one God: many denominations, many translations, many gods."

The words of our Apostle Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles!

Today, I passed by a street corner that had a big crowd of people begging for help to change the climate, and save planet Earth from destruction! My thoughts immediately turned to what the Bible has to say about planet Earth’s future.

After, I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, I fell in love with the living words of the living God, and as such have memorized hundreds of Bible verses, so everything I do, and think about in this world is tied to the Bible.

So, let’s go to the Authorized English Bible, for English speaking people, commonly known as the KJV, to see what it has to say about climate change.

Today, I also wondered if those people wanting to save the climate, ever think about getting their lost soul saved, or think about what happens to them after they die, things I think are the most important things in a person’s life. 

Well anyway I thought I would share a few verses of scripture on a major climate change event coming to planet Earth in the near future.

We read the following in 2nd Peter Chp. 3,

“[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

[10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

[11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

[12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

[13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

[14] Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless."

Peter states that we can expect these things to happen according to the promise made to us by the Lord God. 

Interestingly enough we can go to the book of Isaiah, a book written 700 years before the Lord Jesus Christ, ever stepped foot on planet Earth, making it currently around 2762 years old and we read the following words.

Isaiah Chp. 65,

"[17] For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

[18] But be ye glad and rejoice forever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

[19] And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

[20] There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

[21] And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.”

[22] They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

[23] They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

[24] And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

[25] The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD."

Notice in the verses, that in new heaven and new earth it is going to be a much more peaceful place to live in, the wolf and lamb are going to eat together, and the lamb will not be on the wolf's platter!

The lion is going to eat straw for food and will not be feasting on little wounded baby gazelles anymore!

Isaiah Chp. 66,

"[22] For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

[23] And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

[24] And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh."

Now don't get me wrong, I think we should be good stewards of planet earth, replant the trees that we use, and don't be a litter bug, and take care of our water supplies, etc., but I just don't believe that we are going to reverse a warming cycle on our planet that began thousands of years ago.

In fact if you believe the scientists, you will find that they believe:

"About 50 million years ago, the planet was too warm for polar ice caps, but Earth has mostly been cooling ever since. Starting about 34 million years ago, the Antarctic Ice Sheet began to form." So planet Earth is actually in a cooling cycle at this time."

"Earth has experienced cold periods (or “ice ages”) and warm periods (“interglacials”) on roughly 100,000-year cycles for at least the last 1 million years. The last of these ices ended around 20,000 years ago."

"Since the end of the last Ice Age, the earth has enjoyed two periods that were warmer than the twentieth century. Archaeological evidence shows that people lived longer, enjoyed better nutrition, and multiplied more rapidly than during epochs of cold."

So in the end of this post we come to this point, very few of you that read this will be alive 70 years from now.

If the Bible is true and Jesus Christ is the very creator of the heavens and earth, you heard me right the bible says of Jesus in Col.1 "[16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: [17] And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. [18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence." Then the best thing you can do for yourself and the current planet Earth is trust him as your savior so you can enjoy the new heavens and earth that will be coming to us very soon!

Happy New Year! 2022

 I would like to take this time to give thanks for all the wonderful blessings we have received from the Lord of Glory, the Lord Jesus Christ in 2021. 

As we enter this New Year 2022, I pray that we as Christians might once again become a mighty force in this world to win the lost and dying to the Lord Jesus!

I thought it would be appropriate as we begin this New Year to look at all the places that the Lord Jesus, speaking though our Apostle (Paul), used the word “new” when speaking to the Body of Christ.

What I found, the word new is used in 11 verses in the Pauline epistles, and are a great summary of becoming a Christian, living the Christian life, serving as ministers of the Lord Jesus, as well as remembering the Lord Jesus and what he did for us.

Jesus through the Apostle Paul says that we “put on the new man”, that we become “a new creature in Christ”, and that “all things become new”.

The Apostle Paul continues that we “should walk in newness of life” and as such “we should serve in newness of spirit”, because he “hath made us able ministers of the new testament”!

To finalize we are to remember the Lord Jesus, and what he has done for us, every time we partake of the Lord’s Supper we remember him who died for us, “this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.”

I have included the 11 verses and recommend that you go to each epistle and read the verses to get the full context of each passage. This will greatly help you in becoming the best Christian minister/witness of Jesus that you can be.

Rom.6 [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Rom.7 [6] But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

1Cor.5 [7] Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

1Cor.11 [23] For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: [24] And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. [25] After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

2Cor.3 [6] Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

2Cor.5 [17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Gal.6 [15] For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Eph.2  [15] Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Eph.4  [24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Col.2  [16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Col.3  [10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

The Lord has brought many new people into our lives in 2021, all younger than myself and Theresa, and has allowed us to minister and share with them Paul’s message for the Body of Christ, as given to him by the Lord Jesus.

If you are new to this website, you should know it is dedicated to the study of God’s Holy Word rightly divided, and “the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,” as given to the Apostle Paul.

Romans 16 [24] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. [25] Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, [26] But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: [27] To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.

This website is not affiliated with any particular denomination, and only seeks to help young Christians, and mature Christians alike, to be edified, equipped to be soul winners, and to stand against the wiles of Satan.

2Tim.3   [14] But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;  [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. [16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

I am glad and thankful that the Lord Jesus has provided us a Bible (KJV) in the English language that is without error. My trust in the Authorized Version’s accuracy has only grown over the years of study, which has greatly helped me in my ability to witness for him, and share his holy word with believers, as well as the lost.

As Paul told Timothy to continue, I encourage all my Christian friends to continue in the study of God’s word. I encourage you not to be discouraged when oppression comes, or if you lose friends over your stand for the Lord Jesus, stand strong and keep the faith.

Philippians [4] Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.  [5] Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.  [6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  [7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Lesson 7-21 The Christian’s Tower of Babel

Our number one desire for these Bible lessons are for them to be understandable, defendable, and most important for the Holy Spirit to bear witness that the conclusions are the true, and correct interpretation of the Holy Scriptures.

 Guidelines for our Bible studies on this website:

 

1. We treat the living words of the living God as spoken by the Lord Jesus and given to the Apostle Paul for the Body of Christ the same importance, as the words of the Lord Jesus recorded in red letters in the books of Matthew – Acts Chp. 8, as what should be known as the instructions to the nation Israel.      

2. We will not be wresting the scriptures against each other, we will look at the verses in their context, and will not try to make the scriptures say anything, but what they say.

3. We will be using the verses out of the Authorized Version, commonly known as the KJV. It is fine if you want to look the verses up in other translations if you like, but we will consider the Authorized Version as our final written authority.

4. We do not and will not use the Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, or Latin languages to prove any points, or give any indication that the Authorized Version has been incorrectly translated. 

 I hope these studies are interesting enough to provoke you to study your Bible, and for you to grow in the grace and knowledge of our savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul said in 2 Tim. Chp 2 verse [15] “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 

It never ceases to amaze me when I ask people if they think Satan would be involved in changing or corrupting God’s word every one of them answers yes immediately. 

Funny thing is, when I ask them if they think these new translations could be the corrupted word of God, they almost always say no.

I would like to say I have not plagiarized the following, neither have I ever in my 48 years of being a Christian ever heard anyone reference, or preach, or teach on the Christian’s Tower of Babel.

Now what I want to share with you what I believe has become the most destructive counterfeit that Satan has ever pulled off, and has virtually destroyed the Christian’s credibility in the world today!

In the Old Testament there is a story about the Tower of Babel Genesis 11:1, We read in verse one that “the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech”, many of you will remember from Sunday School, the account of God (The Lord Jesus Christ) going “down to to see the city and tower, which the children of men builded”. 

Now we don’t have the whole story, but we know that the people of Babel, were trying to reach heaven with the tower, and God was not happy with them. We also read the account of what God did to stop them from continuing in unity on their project of building the city and tower.

So, the Lord confounded their language Genesis 11:7 “Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. We read in Genesis 11:9 “Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”

What we learn from these verses is that when men all speak the same language and can communicate with each other it allows them to do anything they can imagine. Genesis 11:6 “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”

So as many of you know, I am a Bible Believer, not a Bible Critic, I believe we the English-speaking people have a Bible without error, found in the King James Version, I believe that the God of heaven and earth was not only interested in his spoken words, but also in recording and preserving those words for future generations.

I am titling the following, 

“THE CHRISTIAN’S TOWER OF BABEL”

 I first saw the Bible issue in Aug. 1974 in Hixson, TN when reading out of a new bible translation that was sweeping the United States. Fortunately, after being saved, I was reading, studying and memorizing the scriptures out of an Authorized Bible, commonly known as a King James Bible today. So when I started reading this new Bible (NSRB) I recognized that the words had been altered. 

Not to belabor the point but, when I read the footnote on page 328, of the New Scofield Reference Bible which read concerning Samuel 6:19 “This number is generally considered to be a scribal error.” I immediately had the following thoughts which I contribute to the Holy Spirit of the Living God! 

1. Errors in my Bible how many are there, how severe are they, who’s going to point them out?

2. Did Jesus really die and rise from the dead?

Why this really hit me was I had friends that were highly educated, more so than myself, telling me I couldn’t trust my English Authorized Bible (KJV) because the words of God had originally been written in the Hebrew and Greek, and had lost much in the translation, and that it was riddled with errors! The things I heard my lost educated friends say about the Bible, I was now reading in a Bible.

I set out after that night studying and comparing different English Bible versions. I had a bible which I had received at Vacation Bible School, September 25, 1960 with which I had my first experience that something was amiss prior to Aug. 1974, but being a baby Christian did not pursue it, but just logged the experience in my memory bank.

During a meeting with an old friend, I was sharing Bible verses about my new life as a Christian, he stated he didn’t have a Bible. I knew I had an old Bible from vacation bible school, so I went home got the Bible and returned to my friend’s house.

I gave him the Bible and I continued sharing Bible verses, now that he had a Bible, I thought things were going to be easier, than sharing one Bible, and having to hand the one back and forth.

It wasn’t long after we went back to looking at verses, that after I read a verse, he said that’s not what this one says, which of course I said what do you mean, he handed me the Bible, I read the verse, sure enough it read very differently, so I took that version back home, and put it away and didn’t look at again until after the August 1974 incident when I believe the Lord Jesus opened my eyes to Satan’s great deception, “THE CHRISTIAN’S TOWER OF BABEL”.

In 1974 it didn’t take me long to compare the relatively small number of English Translations, the main ones being the American Standard Version, Revised Standard Version, New American Standard Version, New International Version, New World Translation, The Living Bible, Douay-Rheims, and Authorized Version, this group covers basically all the English Bibles in use between 1901 and 1974.

After comparing the Authorized Version to the other versions, I came to the conclusion that all the others aligned against the Authorized Version, in other words they made all the same changes and omitted the same verses, etc. that were found in the Authorized Version or (KJV).

Move forward, since my becoming a Christian in 1973, There have been over 80 new English translations on average one every six months. How can anyone not see that we do not need 80 new translations of the scriptures, that fact alone should raise a concern for any Christian that can think logically.

This is a statement out of the Preface of the Revised Standard Version that I received in 1960:

“The King James Version of the New Testament was based upon a Greek text that was marred by mistakes, containing the accumulated errors of fourteen centuries of manuscript copying.”  Again the same things my lost friends believed concerning the Bible.

In this Revised Standard version that I received at Vacation Bible School September 25, 1960 the word “virgin”, in Isaiah Chapter 7:14 was replaced with “young woman”, big difference between a young woman having a baby and a virgin having a baby!

Today’s modern Christian takes the same Position on God’s Holy Word that the Mormons take in their Articles of Faith!

Mormon’s 8th Article of Faith states “We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.”

Now let’s get to what Satan has accomplished by propagating the Christian Tower of Babel deception, “that none of the English Bibles are without error, and without being able to read the Bible in the Original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts you cannot trust the bible you are reading”

1. Satan, counterfeited God’s action at the Tower of Babel, by confounding the Christians with all the different English versions, making it equivalent to Christians speaking in different languages, which has led to Christian's being confused and their growth in the grace and knowledge in the Lord Jesus Christ stunted to say the least.

2. Satan has successfully corrupted God’s Holy Words in these new translations, such that if someone doesn’t agree with sound doctrine, they simply go get a new translation to support their position. 2Cor. 2:17 “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” I could not find one version of the Bible Translations after 1970 where the words “which corrupt the word of God” had not been altered by removing the word corrupt, and in many of them changed to the point that there is no recognition that the verse even refers to the “word of God” as many of them have even deleted the words. For instance, “which corrupt the word of God” (KJV) was replaced with “peddlers of God’s word” (RSV). The two translations (KJV and RSV) of this verse don’t have the same meaning, they are completely different. Although, peddling God’s word is offensive, it’s less severe/dangerous than corrupting the word of God!

3. Prior to Satan successfully replacing the Authorized Version as the final authority with these corrupted translations, Christianity was growing, and people being saved by the multitudes. Today the majority of Christian Churches are experiencing the “death rattle”, and are only being kept alive with the use of rock bands and coffee clubs. I can’t remember the last time I met a recent Christian convert.

4. Satan has made it impossible for Christians to study the Bible and come to the knowledge of the Truth, or sound doctrine, If you don’t have the words of God, you can’t preach the words of God! 2 Timothy 4:1 “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away* their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

5. The words “Thus Saith the Lord” has been replaced with phrases like “this word in the Hebrew or Greek means, unfortunately this is a mistranslation, this word should have been, etc. and the deception just keeps getting worse! I wonder if the world is experiencing the scripture Amos 8 [11] Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: [12] And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

I am so thankful for the Preachers that were my mentors were Bible Believers and not bible correctors!

Satan is having a field day with the Body of Christ with all these modern-day preachers proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom with its earthly kingdom hope, repentance, confession of sins, and water baptism required to be saved or a member of a denomination, Miraculous signs as evidence of salvation, such as speaking in tongues and healing; Teaching the observance of the law, teaching the conditional forgiveness of sins based on forgiving others, teaching forsaking all and selling all to gain eternal life, Having the authority to forgive sins, Reaching Jerusalem and Israel first.

These things are simply incompatible with the truths found in the Pauline epistles, and the gospel of the grace of God. Even if you believe the Bible and you fail to understand the word of truth rightly divided you can still be misled, not lost just misled, and rendered a useless Christian witness.

We are saved not by our works, but by our faith in the crucified and risen Lord Jesus!

With modern day technology being what it is, it is very easy to do word searches and check when someone quotes a Bible verse or tells you something is in the Bible for you to look it up and verify if they are pulling your leg!

The Truth of God’s Holy word is easy to determine if you let the Holy Spirit lead you.

Remember all of the confusion among Christianity/Christians today can be attributed to the simple fact that the church, the Body of Christ, does not recognize the separate, distinct, and unique apostleship, ministry, and message of Paul.

What a great day that will be when Jesus Christ returns in all his glory, friend don’t let that day take you unawares. Today Jesus has his arms outstretched and open to sinners to put their trust in him. One day we will all stand before him either as our savior or our judge, don’t put it off invite Jesus to save you today!
